Fees

My current fees are:

  • 15 minute introductory consultation telephone only: free.

  • 50 minute ongoing weekly therapy appointment, online or in person: £90.

I ask for payment 48 hours in advance in order to secure your session. Where there are issues with bank transfers, please let me know and we can talk it through.

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Because my modality of working works best on a weekly basis, clients usually reserve the same appointment time on a recurring weekly basis, and I hold this space for you. In order for me to reserve this space for you, I allow each client two cancelled sessions every 4 months, which means I will not charge for those two sessions, as long as I have 48 hours’ notice. Outside of this allowance, I ask for the full fee to be paid for any sessions missed. I know that cancellation fees can feel discouraging at times, and I invite you to talk about this with me in your sessions if helpful.

Some therapists have 24-hour cancellation policies, some ask for a week’s notice, and some require a regular weekly payment with no exceptions. Each therapist develops their policy considering their clients’ needs and their own needs. I have designed my policy to ensure that I make the slot available for you on a weekly basis, rain or shine. If I am on holiday or unwell or it is a bank holiday, there is no charge for sessions.

insurance

I accept clients with private health insurance from AXA, Aviva, Cigna, Aetna, Vitality, WPA and Healix. This means that if you provide me with a pre-authorisation code, I will be able to invoice your insurance company directly. As I cannot charge your insurance company for cancelled/missed sessions, I ask you to pay for these in line with my cancellation policy (see below).
